This narrated video was produced immediately after the October 1, 1987 quake and lets you experience its devastation first-hand, including actual footage FILMED DURING THE EARTHQUAKE. Included are 1987 interviews with Whittier residents as well as noted seismologist Dr. Kate Hutton of Cal Tech in Pasadena discussing discoveries from the Whittier quake and the effects of a larger quake in Los Angeles and Southern California.

A portion of the proceeds from this DVD are donated to the Whittier Museum/Whittier Historical Society.
